Workshops...For Children and Adolescents

Being a parent is the toughest and most important job any of us
will ever have. Yet, consider this:
• There is no formal training to be a parent.
• There is no entrance exam.
• There are no report cards with helpful suggestions for
improvement.
• There is no formal orientation, except the experience
we all had living in families.
Still, we sure are "tested"
with each new challenge that confronts us as our children grow
and develop. Do you ever wonder if you're doing the right thing
for your children?
You are not alone. Many parents
seek opportunities to share concerns and questions and learn more
about how to be an effective parent.
At Family Rhythms, we offer
workshops on a wide range of topics dealing with parenting, child
development, and family life. You can learn more about…
•
Enjoying the energy of toddlers, preteens, and teenagers
• Sleep issues in infants and young children
• Emotional development in children
• Child development
• Managing emotional outbursts
• Building the bond between mothers and daughters
• How to raise boys to be competent and loving
• Decreasing the rivalry between siblings
• Being an effective single parent
• Coping with the impact of divorce on children
These are just a few examples…Learning
fuels the mind and replenishes our energy.
Come join us! As one mother of two children recently said,
“Family Rhythms has
enabled us to view our family, our children, and our marriage
in a completely different way. I am much more relaxed, in the
moment, and ‘centered’ with my life…living this
way enables me to be a much better and more attentive parent.
Not to mention, HAPPIER!!”
